Free bingo games are not a huge priority on my online bingo site checklist, but it’s always something that I appreciate as a bingo fan and paying customer. It’s not that I won’t play at a site that doesn’t offer free bingo games, I just like to know that if I fancy a free bingo flutter then I can if I want to.

I must say that I’m quite impressed with the way things are going at Bet365 Bingo - they’ve really made a niche for themselves in the overpopulated online bingo market, especially in the UK. I enjoy browsing their website, it’s one of the most uncluttered online bingo sites I know of, yet all the important info is at your fingertips.

Not only does this site offer a good range of bingo games, but they have their own special games too, like Joker Jackpot, an interesting combination of bingo and cards - you should try it sometime!

As a hardcore bingo fan, I really appreciate that Bet365 Bingo not only offers free bingo games, they also do Penny Bingo - which is great if you’ve only got a few pennies left out of your bingo budget!

So to conclude, free bingo games are not a must for me, but they are an added bonus and something I look upon as a reward for all the money and time I spend playing bingo online!

As the end of the month draws closer, my bingo wings start flapping in anticipation of the great monthly £5k game at Wink Bingo. It’s a pleasure I have always participated in, ever since they opened their doors this Spring to bingo fans.

Bingo to me is so much more than just a game. There’s the thrill of chasing the big bingo jackpot, and of course the little bingo jackpots too. Just you get a bigger thrill when the stakes are that much higher, such as in their online bingo monthly guaranteed jackpot games.

The best thing about these bingo events in particular, is that the prizes are guaranteed, which means that someone, tomorrow night at a few minutes after Big Ben strikes 10pm, some lucky bingo online player at Wink Bingo will be £5,000 richer.

I always hope that the lucky bingo roomie will be me! To date it’s not happened, at least on the $5k online bingo jackpot, but I never give up, and one day I know, I’ll be the luckiest bingo roomie in the house!

My number one love usually online bingo, but when it comes to Jordan, sorry, bingo takes second place!

One of my absolute fave glamour pusses of all time, Jordan (aka Katie Price) has now got her own brand of perfume, calling it Besotted.

Already an online bingo celebrity, she’s done much to refashion her image over the last few months as a serious businesswoman, mainly on the horse riding scene.

I know she’s had many of her physical bits and bobs reshaped, most recently a boob reduction and according to gossip columns an enhanced trout pout too, but I still think she looks gorgeous! Obviously her boobs were getting in the way while she played bingo online! – sorry Katie, couldn’t resist that one!

Much as I love the girl - it’s hard to find the common factor between bingo, horses and perfume - the only one I can think of is Jordan herself.

I’m sure all online bingo fans will agree with me on this one though, Katie can do no wrong in our eyes. Whatever she does, she does it beautifully. And I, for one, would give anything to play bingo with her!

Seriously, it’s good to live in the UK if you love playing bingo online. Although we have our fair share of bumbling politicians, at least they don’t try to whitewash you with lies, saying all forms of online gambling, including online bingo, are immoral.

We don’t have idiots telling us that we’re not allowed to play online bingo in private, in our own homes. There’s no need to hide behind closed doors searching for bingo sites that will allow you to play (based on your country of residence), scared that you might be arrested at any moment, just because certain powerful government officials are blighted with tunnel vision when it comes to online bingo.

If the US Department of Justice would stop for a moment, take a deep breath, and open its eyes - then maybe, just maybe, it would see the bigger picture.

Online bingo is not a threat and never has been. Why doesn’t the Department of Justice live up to its name and concentrate its mighty powers by acting to resolve real social problems such as poverty and crime?

Instead, the whole industry is waiting with bated breath to see how governor Arnie will vote on the latest gambling bill – could be a turning point for bingo in California… Meantime the farce continues, the deliberate breach of a World Trade Organisation (WTO) treaty by the US in an attempt to wriggle out of paying compensation to Antigua for lost revenue due to the US gambling ban – this has been dragging on for years.

And now the latest kerfuffle in Kentucky, 141 gambling domains including bingo sites to be seized! What on earth is America playing at? Gimme a break guys, it’s only bingo!

Times like these I just adore being a Brit!

Online bingo is under siege again! Not by the entire USA, this time just one state is on the warpath, Kentucky.

Today the Kentucky courts ruled in favour of a judgement on behalf of the good citizens of Kentucky and ordered a mass seizure of 141 online gambling sites that have the audacity to offer their services to the needy citizens of Kentucky. (I say needy, because if nobody in Kentucky wanted to play online bingo or have a flutter in an online casino then they wouldn’t have a Kentucky fried chicken leg to stand on).

Fellow bingo players, please have no fear! Tthe good old State of Kentucky is leaping to the rescue of all those poor people suffering from playing online bingo, among other things. Everyone is to blame for this terrible suffering, even reputable software providers such as Microgaming are on this awful list of wrongdoers.

OMG! Woe is me! I’ve just realised I play bingo online too! Does that mean I’m gonna get a dreadful disease and die in agony from my secret chats with my online bingo buddies? I’d better warn everyone to stay well away from this devilish game:

ONLINE BINGO IS DANGEROUS!!!

DO NOT TOUCH IT!

DO NOT GO NEAR IT!

IF YOU SEE AN UNATTENDED BINGO PLAYER DO NOT APPROACH BUT ALERT SOMEONE IN KENTUCKY IMMEDIATELY! (they will know what to do)

By the way, has anyone ever heard of the Kentucky Derby? If you fancy a wee flutter on the Kentucky Derby go right ahead, as it’s definitely NOT illegal. Just make sure to keep your bingo cards well hidden!

Green bingo balls of light doesn’t have quite the same ring to it as “Great balls of fire!” - but never mind.

As you might guess from the headline, I’m referring to the latest energy-saving campaign from Mecca Bingo - who teamed up with local domestic power supplier to provide a pair of enery-efficient light bulbs to every bingo player who visits their bingo hall.

I’m full of admiration for any company, which includes an increasing number of bingo halls plus online bingo websites, that do their bit for charity, or even the general population - which is also charity when it comes down to it.

Traditional British bingo companies have quite a presence in focusing public awareness on subjects we might not spend much time thinking about - except perhaps when we’re playing a boring game of online bingo - which doesn’t happen that often!

We’ve got the poor staff from Gala Bingo climbing up mountains, Mecca bingo doormen giving away lightbulbs - whatever next! All in the name of progress!

For those online bingo players among you who want to do your save energy bit, using a laptop is considerably greener than a standard desktop computer. You could also try turning out the lights at the same time :)

My bingo blog for today is going to involve some shameless self-promoting. I want to let you good folks know about our online bingo forum at BingoStreet.

The BingoStreet online bingo forum is a place where bingo players from all walks of life are invited to share their views, heap praise on their favourite online bingo sites, or completely diss a bingo site if they feel they’ve been hard done by.

Running a bingo forum, or a forum of any kind for that fact, is actually a very challenging process. Forums don’t just appear overnight, they can take a while to kick off and it can be a slow process.

My very good mate Charlie, also an avid online bingo fan, is the bingo forum moderator here at BingoStreet, and he’s not really that busy at the moment to be honest. I’m here to support him, as bingo buddies do, and to ask any of you who bother to read my fantastic online bingo blog ;) to take an extra moment and introduce yourself to our bingo forum members.

Charlie really wants to get a hot bingo buzz going in our bingo forum, and he’s getting pretty desperate (poor sod) so please pop in and say hello to him - put a smile on his sorry face! LOL

That’s it for today folks, tomorrow’s Friday so we’ll have another hot bingo promotion coming out to you by email - look out for that, and enjoy the bingo fun!

Has anyone ever tried this? It’s something I’ve yet to do, play bingo online via my mobile. It’s definitely an intruiging concept but I can’t quite imagine online bingo successfully morphing to mobile phone mode.

For one thing you need a whole lotta space. I’ve played other casino games on my mobile before, blackjack, even poker, but never bingo. Apparently it’s possible to load most of the online bingo site features onto your handset, almost the same as the website you normally use.

I guess it’s down to the type of mobile phone you have. If you’re an old fuddy duddy like me then you’ve still got your Nokia from 5 years back, which does all the basic things a mobile phone should do and that’s it.

I bought it before I was into online bingo, and never imagined for a second that I might use it to access online websites, let alone online bingo sites – surely this is what computers are for!

Call me an old fashioned bingo head, but I think I’ll stick with my laptop for the internet and playing bingo online, and I’ll keep my phone for my mum – I’m always the first one she calls if she scores a full house playing online bingo! Bless her cotton socks!

I love playing free bingo games! It might sound like I’m a tight @$$, but I’m really not. I’m all for spending my money playing online bingo, as this is what I do for entertainment. I pays my money and takes my choice. But every now and again I partake in the free bingo games that come my way, it’d be silly to say no to a free flutter!

There are many online bingo sites that offer free bingo games in their various forms, some are just once a week, others are daily free bingo games at a certain time. But I’ve just realised that Tombola Bingo offers free bingo games non stop - which is pretty cool, especially since you can win up to 5 grand on these games!

They’ve been bystanders in the online bingo scene, having provided the software for Sun Bingo and NOTW Bingo up until a few weeks ago. But now they’ve switched to using their own online bingo software and it’s pretty hot in my opinion - they should have done this years ago.

Of course it’s always riskier for online bingo sites to offer free bingo games, as they’re basically just giving away cash without asking for any deposits - I can’t see that this makes good business sense, however it does provide a real ‘feel good’ factor for online bingo fans, and doubtless will instill a sense of loyalty to the online bingo site too.

So keep them free bingo games coming chaps – we love them, and apart from anything else it’s great publicity!

The way the US government has handled the whole fiasco starting from the 1961 Wire Act up to the UIGEA still leaves me gawping in shock and amazment. For citizens in the land of the free, where the 5th amendment is used daily in courts all over the land, what is the big deal about online bingo, online poker or even online casino games?

Online bingo is my thing, it keeps me going. And if I want to play online bingo there’s nothing stopping me, as a British citizen. However if you happen to live in the good old USA it’s another matter entirely. My question is why?

America gave birth to the internet and the dot com boom, and a whole new industry was born. Gambling has always been an inherent part of our nature, and online bingo is just one facet of that.

I tune in and drop out in the evenings and at weekends to play my favourite online bingo games. It’s harmless, you can play for hours on pennies, or if you’re really good at keeping a schedule you can get by on just playing free bingo games without having to spend a penny of your own!

I’m just trying to imagine the uproar it would cause if Gordon Brown suddenly turned round and declared it illegal to play online bingo - he would be lynched! There’s no way anybody’s going to tell me I can’t play bingo online. No way Jose!
