The appointment of Gibtelcom’s Tim Bristow to the board of Party Gaming is a clear indication that one of the online gambling industry’s biggest players is bullish about the future.

Like many in the industry, Party Gaming was hit by the lose of the US market thanks to the implementation of that country’s new UIGEA law. Now it’s planning ahead for a more healthy online gambling environment and that’s good for all of us.

I have only limited experience with Party Gaming’s online bingo products, but their reputation is solid. With the kind of experience a seasoned telecommunications man like Tim Bristow brings, I’m sure we will see more of Party Gaming’s progress as the industry rebuilds in the wake of the UIGEA carnage.
