The use of mobile phones in spreading the accessibility to online bingo is being touted as a major factor in the popular online game’s future growth, according to the UK’s Bingo Association.

Stephan Baldwin (not the actor) of the Bingo Association says mobile technology will help expand the online bingo industry, adding: “Mobile bingo may just open a new market because it provides a new channel for people accessing bingo.”

Any new channel for people being able to play bingo online is fine by me.  And I agree that this is a potentially exciting development for the online bingo industry.  Already, Foxy Bingo is making its own plans to offer its online bingo games to people via their mobile phones.  Keep tuned to Bingo Street to see how this all turns out.
