Online Bingo

So, the US mainstream media is really starting to take up the great anti-online gambling issue, if an editorial by the LA Times is to be believed.

And why should it not? The editorial in question is a succinct look at the conflicting and sometimes downright hypocritical stance the US government has taken on this issue. With many well established online bingo halls and online bingo players caught up in the badly thought out mess that is the US’ UIGEA law, it’s refreshing to see that some in the US mainstream have grasped the utter stupidity of this law.

My hat is off to the editor at the LA Times for running this piece and pointing out that US policy makers need to get behind Congressman Barney Franks’ attempts at amending this law.
