Bingo.com is hoping to have a good Christmas and fresh start to 2010; the company has seen crippling losses this year and has faced financial difficulties, however, they are expecting things to change for the better.
The online bingo site will be opting for a refinancing option where they will float 1.36 million common shares at a cost of $0.15 per share which generate $204,000 and give them the momentum to get back on track. These shares are to be purchased by private companies.
The CEO of Bingo.com, Tarrnie Williams has confirmed that funds from the private placement will be used for marketing initiatives as well as for general corporate purposes. There is also a software upgrade in the pipeline. Said the CEO, “We believe the Company will be well positioned for success once the software is launched and our marketing plan is executed."
Even though Bingo.com is in the process of sorting itself out, it hasn’t forgotten its loyal bingo players. The bingo site has pulled out all stops to ensure that their members have a fabulous Christmas at Bingo.com. They have introduced a new VIP 90 Ball bingo Christmas Club room which will host special bingo jackpots of £2000 every night between 9pm and 10pm; the room will also have fixed £500 bingo jackpots of Thursdays and Fridays at 10pm all through the festive month.
