Talk about hitting the jackpot! Online bingo players can only dream that they will be so lucky as one individual who stands to inherit an estimated $4.5 billion dollars on the death of Asia’s wealthiest woman. Hong Kong is all abuzz at the moment with speculation as to who will inherit the very sizable fortune left by Nina Wang, one of Asia’s richest people and certainly the region’s richest woman. It’s been reported that the pig-tailed former chairwoman of Asian property giant Chinachem has left her entire fortune to only one person – but who remains a mystery. The former tycoon inherited her fortune under controversial circumstances after the disappearance of her husband in 1990 who was believed to have been kidnapped and then murdered. For Hong Kongers, the Nina Wang story has been a saga of national proportions in a city where fortunes are often lost and made on an epic scale. Speculation that the fortune left by the late tycoon may have been left to a charity have been denied by her lawyer in a statement to local paper The south China Morning Post.
