Italian financial police bust online gambling ring

An item by AGI is reporting that Italian financial police are breaking up an illegal online betting ring with points of operations in over 20 Italian centres.

Fifty-six people have been registered by Taranto Financial Guard officials as part of the ongoing investigation. It’s not known if any had links to any form of online bingo or online bingo halls.

The report goes on to say the illegal betting operation was a complex system capable of evading Italy’s AAMS authorizations system which governs Italian gambling.

As of this time the Italian authorities have not released any names of either the operators or clients of the illegal gambling operation.
