A Norwich woman playing at the Mecca Bingo All Saints Green club has won a whopping £62,000 prize in the National Bingo Game. She also walked away with the house prize of £2,274 to add to her £60,000 national jackpot. The win comes a mere two days after another player scored a £29,857 prize at the same venue. Mecca Bingo also operates an online bingo hall version of its famous brand of bingo and is major force in the UK online bingo industry. It is part of the UK Rank Group which is one of the largest gaming enterprises in the world. The company’s land-bingo operations have come under increasing pressure due to a UK-wide smoking ban and double taxation policy, but its bingo online operations have gone from strength to strength in recent years.
