Malaysian company makes online gaming entery

The Malaysian company which has recently been linked to a potential takeover of major UK land and online bingo company Rank has now entered the European online gaming scene with the launch of its new CircusCasino.com and Circus Poker.co.uk.

Genting is launching its Alderney-licensed operation in an attempt to establish itself in the online gaming sector as a way of providing a basis for potential launches in the Asian market.

At this time, Genting’s new online gaming ventures do not offer any comprehensive bingo online options. Online bingo games are not a major market in Asia, so it’s expected Genting will first consolidate any exposure it has in online bingo operations to its European market.

Genting’s choice of software for its new operations comes via UK software developer Playtech which is a popular choice amongst free online bingo operators.
