NetPlay TV appoints new director

Interactive TV gaming company NetPlayTV has appointed former BBC light entertainment manager Michael Leggo to the position of director of television. His responsibilities will take in all the company’s TV gaming and products.

NetPlay is also an online bingo games operator through its bingos.com online bingo hall and recently launched plans for a celebrity online bingo TV show as part of its ongoing expansion into bingo online.

In a statement released by NetPlayTV the company said that Leggo is expected to “...to bring mainstream editorial and production expertise to NetPlay TV's rapidly expanding television operations and to build further relationships with broadcasters."

NetPlay CEO Martin Higginson says the company is setting up a dedicated gaming channel because it’s “It is the right thing to do for us.”
