Former online bingo hall front person and celebrity glamour model Katie Price (aka Jordan) and her husband have been awarded substantial libel damages after taking the News of the World to court for portraying the couple as uncaring parents. Known in the online bingo games world for her former work with popular UK online bingo hall Foxy Bingo, Katie Price said: "Pete and I love our kids, and would do anything for them.” The case was brought after the News of the World published an article based on an interview with a former nanny who had worked for Katie Price and her husband. The News of the World’s solicitor apologised for the story and accepted that the article’s allegations were untrue. "Anyone who has kids can imagine how it would feel to be accused publicly of being bad parents,” said Ms Price. "We came here today to see that justice was done and that our names were cleared… Now that the paper has accepted the story wasn't true, apologised to us, and paid us damages and our costs, we believe the record has been set straight and our names have been cleared." Katie Price parted ways with Foxy Bingo after the website decided to change direction in its advertising strategy. Foxy Bingo is one of the most popular bingo online operators in the UK and features regularly on free online bingo information portals such as Bingo Street.
