Report shows online bingo a growing business

A BingoPort report shows the UK bingo online games industry generated earnings as much as £120 million in 2007 from £650 million in revenues

Included in the report is the claim that about 500 000 UK online bingo players log on each month. The statistic is according to estimates collated by the UK Gambling Commission.

BingoPort.co.uk is a free online bingo tracking service keeping tabs on the performance of the UK’s regulated online bingo halls. Online bingo is expected to grow for the rest of 2008 and constitutes one of the fastest growing niches in the online gaming industry with the number of online bingo halls in the UK already having jumped from 17 in 2004 to 243 this year.
