Sue Schneider, the current CEO at Clarion Gaming’s US branch and a recognized online gaming industry leader, is due to step down now that her agreed two year commitment to the position has come to an end. She is expected to continue providing advisory services to the company as required. Schneider had remained in her high-level management position following the 2006 sale of River City Group to Clarion Events. Clarion Gaming CEO Peter Rusbridge said a series of new services will be implemented the company’s US office. "We've got over 60 years of i-gaming industry experience among those staff which is amazing for such a nascent industry," he said. "So we're keen to leverage both the knowledge and relationships that they have to continue to grow Clarion Gaming." The changes also see the promotion of Mark Balestra to Head of Digital Publications for the company which the company says will herald additional features to publications such as IGamingNews.com, Internet Gambling Report, and Clarion’s informative research reports. Also in the changes is Chris Krafcik taking on the position of Editor of IGamingNews.com. Clarion Gaming is a major and important source for online gaming news that includes coverage of the online bingo games sector and the news affecting online bingo halls and online bingo software developers.
