Ladbrokes Bingo are going for a full house – at least in Liverpool – where they have just finished filming for part of their TV advertisment campaign to be aired next month. Giant inflatable bingo balls of 13 ft in diameter could be seen rolling around various streets and famous landmarks in Liverpool, propelled along with helping hands from amused pedestrians. Ladbrokes Bingo had to temporarily close off busy areas in order to make room for the huge balls. The TV campaign will be aired in mid-September, and will show the giant bingo balls hurtling past many famous Liverpudlian landmarks, such as the Liver Building, St George’s Hall, The Steblel Fountain and Museum Steps. The advertising company behind the idea, M&S Saatchi, will also be including real-life references to bingo lingo, which is the slang used in bingo and online bingo alike, with representations of two fat ladies, legs eleven and two little ducks. Charlie Goodenough, the marketing manager at Ladbrokes Bingo, says that it has been a really exciting project for the company, and they are delighted to be bringing online bingo to the streets of Liverpool on such a huge scale. “We wanted to represent the fun, exciting nature of the game, and we’re sure the giant bingo balls will make an impact on both Merseyside and across the country.” Written by Charlene Grey – the best online bingo resource in the UK for top bingo promotions and free bingo games.
