Wink Bingo is getting in to the action on British television, not only with its nationwide advertisments, but sponsoring popular TV shows such as Family Fortuntes. The new show, All Star Family Fortunes, is hosted by irrepressible presenter Vernon Key, and features celebrities and their families playing this fun game to raise cash for charity. Wink Bingo was honoured to be the sponsor for the All Star Family Fortunes show aired earlier this week on 13 Sept. To celebrate the event, Wink Bingo invited some lucky online bingo roomies to be part of the studio audience and watch the show being filmed live. Wink Bingo, one of the most popular online bingo sites in the UK, had one of their recent TV advertisments declared 'not appropriate' by the Advertising Standards Authority. The humourous online bingo ad showed a woman giving birth in the background while the maternity nurse celebrated her online bingo win. Wink Bingo took this in their stride and the publicity probably did more good than harm. Their funny bingo online collection is available on the Wink Bingo website, including the one that was banned by the ASA. However the latest Wink Bingo collection of cute kitten advertisments for their bingo product, filmed specifically for the Family Fortunes show, has passed the scrutiny of the ASA with flying colours. It’s definitely worth checking out the cute kittens in all their glory on the Wink Bingo website, where you can also get a rare glimpse behind the scenes illustrating the difficulties faced when working with small fluffy animals.
