It's that time of year again when the BBC begins fund-raising for its Children In Need drive. It will be screened on BBC 1 on Friday the 14th, and this is a great cause so I do wish them as much success as possible – and this year, there's a way to support it by playing bingo.
Children In Need is one of the most worthwhile charities to support. As the name suggests, the organisation raises funds to help change the lives of disadvantaged young people. Every pound the fund raises gets donated to organisations that provide support to children with disabilities, or who are living in poverty.
Last year Children In Need raised over £37 million, and every penny of it went to helping young people who've been dealt a tough hand by life so far. It really makes a difference to the lives of so many.
This year you can contribute to Children In Need by playing online bingo! Throughout its history, the game has always been associated with raising money for charity, and Foxy Bingo is staying with that tradition. This Friday they'll be running a very special game intended to raise funds for the Children In Need drive.
The price of a bingo card for Foxy Bingo's Children In Need game is just £1 – and for every card you buy, Foxy Bingo will donate £1 to the Children In Need fund. Think about that for a second. It's basically as if Foxy Bingo were rewarding you for donating a pound by giving you free entry into the game.
And what a game it is – the guaranteed jackpot is a credit crunch busting £20,000. How ace is that? You're getting a chance to win a ton of cash plus you'll be donating money to a worthwhile charity at the same time – and all by enjoying a game of online bingo!
If you're keen to play, just log into the Foxy Bingo website. You'll find the Children In Need game in the 75-ball bingo section. The game will kick off at 9:00pm sharp, and remember, it's for a good cause, so buy a bunch of cards if you can afford it.
