In the game in question, a Mecca Bingo rule applied that if a Full House was achieved in 33 numbers or less, a massive bonus win applies.
It's worth noting that this rule doesn't apply at all online bingo sites. In fact, it's so uncommon that the player in question didn't even realise she'd won the fantastic prize until a representative from Mecca Bingo, who is now legendarily known as Bingo Dave, gave her a ring and informed her she was five figures into the black.
For beverlyt it was a mega slice of beginner's luck, as is so often the case in these situations. She had signed up to play at the Mecca Bingo website less than a week before her stupendous streak of good luck.
Mecca Bingo treated the disbelieving bingo online prize winner to a weekend of ultimate luxury and pleasure by inviting her up to London for the weekend. The company hosted the woman and her partner in a top class hotel, and treated the pair to a set of tickets to a brilliant show.
When asked about the circumstances of her huge online bingo win, beverleyt said that despite being a regular player at her local club, she'd had her daughter assist her in signing up at the Mecca Bingo website on a cold and rainy day when the prospect of heading out to the local bingo hall had seemed a dim and soggy one.
The first time she went to play bingo online she won a couple of lines, which was of course a welcome bonus, and her subsequent full house bingo win netted her £65. She was pleased as punch with this outcome, and told her work friends about it.
A couple of days later the phone rang, and it was Bingo Dave informing her that she'd won the massive bingo jackpot. The news was met with complete disbelief and shock.
Beverlyt said, “I got my daughter to log on to my account to check my account balance to see if this was true. Once I noticed it was true I was jumping up and down with my daughter and sent someone out to by a few bottles of wine!"
